J-D Trail Riding Camp 2007 Album
If you had talked to me on Friday, or even Saturday morning before the actual ride "kick-off" and asked me if I thought I
might be interested in leading another ride next year, I would have told you "No way! Let someone else do it!" I was
feeling extremely defeated and feeling like a failure at the beginning of this weekend because the ride I had worked
so hard to plan and to try to make as exciting as possible, had a campground full of horse trailers that you could
almost count on just one hand.

By Sunday afternoon I was still feeling a bit undecided as to whether or not I would even want to try something like this
again, but she began talking about all the things we could do to make it better for next year and how we could improve
on a few things and where else we should have advertised the ride, and she just had so much enthusiasm, that I
finally said "If you are willing to have this ride again next year, then I will do it too!" So I guess it is officially set in stone,
October 4th, 2008 - the 2nd Annual Hooves for a Cure Charity Trail Ride will be held once again at J-D Trail Camp in
Octavia, Oklahoma. Anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and just camp out for the
weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature that God has created, come on down! I guarantee it is worth the little extra
drive!
