On October 4, 2008 the Second Annual Hooves for a Cure Charity Trail Rides will occur in
various locations around Oklahoma.   Links to ride forms, sponsorship forms, and flyers are
at the right.  $10 donation per person.  Camping and site fees are not included.

Riding will start at 10AM.  Choose from do your own thing rides and organized rides at various
locations.  Net proceeds will be donated to fund mammograms, research and to raise
awareness in the fight against breast cancer.  Call or email ride contacts for ride specifics.

J-D Trail Riding Camp, Octavia, OK - Come ride in the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains and help
raise money to fight breast cancer.  Ride fee is $10 with a potluck dinner on Saturday Night,
Silent Auction, Raffle Drawing and Karaoke with Rick Stowers.  Come for the day or spend the
entire weekend!  Camping fees not included in ride fee.  Non-riders are also welcome!

Lake Carl Blackwell, 9 miles west of Stillwater.  N off SH51, Stillwater, OK.  Do your own thing
or join the organized ride leaving out at 10AM.

10AM and returns at 2PM.

Lake Draper, Oklahoma City, OK,.  Come ride the trails at Lake Draper  for a wonderful
cause.  We will meet at the parking lot next to the marina.  You can do your own thing or, if you
haven’t ridden at Lake Draper, before you can go on an organized ride leaving out at 10:00
am.  Be sure to bring a lunch and water.  Draper Stables does rent horses and a reservation
is recommended 794-8850.  Directions:  Take I-240 to Sooner Rd. Go South on Sooner to S.E.
104th St. Go East on 104th, it runs right into the lake.  Contact:

Duncan Lake Horse Club, 9 miles east of Duncan on Plato Road, then take Duncan Lake
Road to the lake south 1/2 mile then turn at lake concession sign west follow road to Pavilion.  
Organized ride or do your own thing ride.  Overnight camping available.  See the

(580)255-2613.  It is across from the lake with lake access.  Cost is $15/hour.

Last Hurrah Ranch, Warner, OK. Our ranch is located 17 miles SE of Muskogee in Warner,
OK.  Off of I-40.  You can pack a lunch or purchase one at the ride. We're offering brisket
sandwiches, chips and a drink for $5.00. All of the food has been donated so the proceeds
from the lunch will also be donated.  Thompson Ranch is only open once a year and this is it.
The ride is through trees, up and  down rocky hills, through a couple of creeks and high
meadows. It offers excellent views as  well as a good chance to work your horse. We hope to
see some riders there!  Contact:

Sportsman Lake, Seminole OK. Day ride for $10 donation, does not include ride fees or
camping fees (ride $2.50 day, camp $12.50 night). Bring your own lunch. Wear pink & put pink
on your horse. Ride starts at 10 a.m. Approved 12 mi. See the

Form – Businesses may
want to donate money and
or products to your event.
This form has a receipt for
the business and a copy for
us to keep record.  We will
put their company link on the
website for their donation.

Liability Release forms will be signed before entry at all ride locations.
